IWM Duxford

I am a professional blogger and my passion is being an explorer and recording videos of different places all over the UK. This Saturday is planned to explore IWM Duxford in the UK. The cab driver is a very nice person. He opened the gate for me. At the beginning of my journey, the cab driver offered me some snacks and drinks. My VIP cab is very luxurious and comfortable. The seats in the cab are very comfy. I feel very comfortable in those seats. When I feel bored, I start talking with the driver. The driver is a very humble person and gave me some advice about exploring some beautiful places all over the UK. Then I don't feel boarded. When I reached my destination, I go into IWM Duxford and it is the most unique of all the other places I have ever seen all around the UK. Then I read the info about IWM Duxford, such as the Royal Military Museum. The Imperial War Museum has a location close to Duxford in Cambridgeshire, England. Nearly 200 aircraft, military vehicles, artillery, and small naval vessels are housed at Duxford, the largest aviation museum in the United Kingdom. The museum's huge displays are spread across seven main exhibition buildings. The location also serves as a storage facility for the museum's various collections of documents, books, artefacts, films, and pictures. The location houses a number of British Army regimental museums, including those of the Royal Anglian Regiment and the Parachute Regiment (also known as Airborne Assault).

The location, which was modelled after the historic Duxford Aerodrome, was first used by the Royal Air Force (RAF) during World War One. After playing a significant role in the Battle of Britain during World War II, Duxford was utilised by United States Army Air Forces fighter units to support the daytime bombing of Germany. Up until 1961, Duxford was still a functioning RAF airport. The Imperial War Museum was given permission to use a portion of the facility for storage after the Ministry of Defense deemed it surplus to requirements in 1969. The Imperial War Museum and the Burma Star Association collaborated on the Forgotten War exhibition, which is housed in the Land Warfare Hall and debuted on March 25, 1999. The Association represents Burma campaign veterans who frequently feel that, in comparison to those who fought in Europe, they served in a "Forgotten Army." The exhibit, which looks at many facets of the Second World War in the Far East, includes antiques, old movies and photos, and tableaux that show things like troops marching through a forest and a village in Burma. It was my best experience of all other places in the UK. I will never forget that place and it is a very memorable place.
